The Cheese Makes It
Our Love of Cheese is a gourmet passion.
Have you checked the fridge for Cheese today? I use cheese in so many of my summer salads. I am always running back to the store for some more cheese. I should just order it on the Internet from a quality shop and have a well stocked refrigerator.
I love to use a slightly robust Feta Cheese in my salads. It is a cheese that complements red grapes, pears, and strawberries. Almost any fruit you would add to a green salad. The onion perks up to, when placed next to the creamy yet dry texture of Feta cheese? I make a home-made dressing, which consist mainly of oil, apple-cider vinegar, spicy mustard, cinnamon, lemon pepper, garlic, and a little sweeting. (For me Splenda works fine.). That the basic dressing. Greens, I like fresh spinach, romaine and spring cuts. The final touch is some more Cheese. Yes, you need some Mozzarella. the shredded style. About 3/4 of cup sprinkled throughout the salad. I like to use what I call three bags of prewash greens, a good Vadalia onion, cup of red grapes, sliced, a fresh simi-ripe Barrlet pear sliced in small chucks. (Should I say diced?) And about 3 oz. of Feta Cheese, crumbled through the greens. Add dressing and toss. Serve with some tasty Garlic bread and Iced sweeten Green Tea.
That is just one way to get into a Cheese frame of mind.. Cheese alone is a wonderful experience, (Wine and Cheese), but when added to other dishes everything seems to be improved. I can’t leave without a mention of two of the great American Classics. I’ll let them speak for themselves, and if you’re really hungry by now go to:Â www.SimplyMyOpinion.com for some great places to order Cheese.
